She's Walkin'

Yep, all on her own. Amber's been cruising for about 2 months now, and occassionally taken a few random steps on her own. We went on vacation last week and she did a lot of crawling, but very little walking. So, I don't know what hit her suddenly, but it started on Sunday. She just stood up and took 7 steps. And kept it up throughout the day. Monday she did a little at daycare, and then Tuesday and Wednesday she just went nuts with it. By Thursday, she's walking across whole rooms, carrying objects with her, and squealing in sheer delight.

She knows she's doing it, and loving it. It's awesome. :)

Birthday Fun

Did I mention someone had a birthday party? We had a great time: there was cake, presents, and a cute little princess to entertain us. Just, don't talk about the Elmo incident...
