Amber just turned two, and boy is she a wonderful bundle of patience-testing energy. :) She's talking, oh boy is she talking. Two to three word sentences. I'm always asking her to repeat stuff and she tries nearly every time. Air conditioning, for instance. And she can say it.
I was eating potato and macaroni salad the other day. I don't buy it too often, so when I do, I really enjoy it. So I'm in the kitchen, eating from the container when Amber comes over and says "have some", which is her way of asking if she can have some. So I say sure, always encouraging to try new things. She didn't like the macaroni salad, and said "have some" again, but this time to the potato salad. I asked her if she was sure, it tasted a lot like the other, but she said have some, so I gave her a small bite. Which she promptly spit out. I gave her some juice to get the taste out of her mouth, and she watched me take the fork to the salad again. At which point, she starts backing up and sahking her head. "No, mommy." It tasted so bad to her, she didn't even want ME to eat it. :)
