Tickles & Gymnastics

Amber continues to amaze and delight us.

Driving home from daycare one day, I tell her that her brother is tickling me. She giggles, and then starts blowing kisses. Her response to being asked who they were for - "baby".

We've been watching the Olympics on Tivo (love Tivo!), and Amber's been enjoying it too. She waits for the swimmers' start buzzer to go off and she yells "go!" There is such thing as too much - she's started telling me "No swimming, Mommy, no." Guess she's not a Michael Phelps fan. ;)

The gymnastics are a different story, however. Although we took the summer off, we've had her in parent/child gymnastics from October through June. We're planning on taking her back, it's great weekend fun with her, not to mention guaranteed exercise for Mom and Dad. But the point of all this - is that watching the olympic gymnasts has her doing her forward rolls, and sommersaults. She even uses her dad's forearm as "bars" and hangs from him until she drops to the floor.
